How to Get out of REYR for Operations

  1. The coming events and season will provide opportunities for many crew members to acquire underway time. Some members were unable to log enough time last year and have been classified REYR as a consequence.
  2.  When performing missions with members REYR due to insufficient past year hours, be cognizant of your crew's AUXDATA situation. In reporting crew time on 7030 forms note, in the comments section, which particular member's mission hours are to be applied to their past year deficiency.
  3. When current mission hours will enable transition from REYR to operational status, note on the 7030, 'deficient hours are fully recovered'.  When you start a mission in REYR, you end the mission in REYR no matter if you did more than the required makeup hours. All hours will be trainee/REYR hours until AUXDATA is updated.
  4.  If this information is not conveyed to the FSO-IS, SO-IS, and DIRAUX (OTO), the deficiency will not be corrected in AUXDATA and POMS will continue to recognize the crew member as REYR.
  5.  Each crew member is responsible to monitor their own status and advise the coxswain, before mission commencement, if they are, or are not REYR. Failure to inform the Coxswain of status will jeopardize the mission and all aboard.
  6. Any activity that is completed to get a member out of REYR, must be reported to the OTO; only he can remove the REYR.
